This piece is a study in natural earth tones and textures, composed solely of kaolin clay, sand, and urucum pigment—each element carefully sourced and hand-prepared. The kaolin, with its origins in the Czech landscape, imparts a soft, earthy palette of muted whites, warm browns, and gentle ochres that forms the foundation of the piece. Brazilian sand enhances the surface with a rich, tactile texture. Urucum pigment, used sparingly, adds vivid accents to select areas. This artwork invites viewers to experience the untouched beauty of raw materials, harmonizing diverse landscapes into a single, organic expression.

Each of my artworks is strongly experimental, unique, and unrepeatable.

A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust. The painting is signed on the edge.

You will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.

Please note: The colors in the photograph may vary slightly due to screen settings and display differences. The artwork’s true tones and textures are best appreciated in person.

Most of the color and texture in the piece come directly from nature, underscoring the raw beauty and authenticity of the earth’s elements. The harmonious blend of materials from diverse geographies reflects a deeper connection to the natural world, grounding the work in both time and place –soft cream and browns of kaolin, rough texture of sand and earthy color from urucum collected in Brazil.

Medium: Acrylic, sand and urucum pigment on canvas

This painting captures the essence of Brazil's coastal beauty using a mix of acrylic paint, sand from its beaches, and handmade urucum pigment. The painting portrays the warm, dark orange tones reminiscent of Brazil's landscape, evoking the earthy richness of its terrain.

Urucum pigment is traditionally employed by Brazilian indigenous communities. Derived from annatto seeds, urucum symbolizes vitality and a spiritual connection to the land.

Through simple brushstrokes and texture, this painting invites observers to immerse themselves in the beauty of a land where art, culture, and nature intertwine in harmonious celebration.
